JUUL Knowingly Shipped 1M Contaminated Vapes
Shocking allegations about the quality of JUUL vape pods comes from the senior vice president of JUUL himself. Siddarth Breja is claiming he was fired after raising concerns over the company knowingly shipping over one million contaminated vape pods. Soon after, Breja filed a lawsuit over the incident. According to his pleadings, he alleges that the CEO of the company, Kevin Burns responded to the concerns saying “Half our customers are drunk and vaping like mo-fo’s, who the f*** is going to notice the quality of our pods?”.
This lawsuit and allegations come after the company announces massive layoffs. About 10% to 15% of their workforce and four executives have been laid off. More lawsuits are being filed against JUUL over their customers dying or being seriously injured because of their products. So far, it looks like these Multidistrict Litigation involving JUUL will be similar to the Municipal Opioid litigation and the Roundup Cancer litigation.
