According to News 4 San Antonio, an 18-year-old was drunk driving and caused a San Antonio car accident that sent two people to the hospital. The driver is being charged for DWI and intoxication assault, but this is a harsh reminder of the problems with drinking and driving. Not to mention this person was severely underage, begging the question: Why was he drinking in the first place? The problem with this story is the result. There always seems to be a couple people who get injured or die because of someone elses drunk driving problems. It seems that regardless of the age, people still seem to think that they will never get caught or they will never hurt someone while driving drunk.

Drunk Driving Always Seems to Hurt the Innocent the Most

This article didn’t explain anything about the drunk driver being hurt. It always seems to end up that way, where the runk driver comes out unscthed and a few innocent bystanders are hurt the most. Since this happen so often it makes people fear for their lives to even go on the road and drive around. Imagine people who have kids. It’s terrifying to know that other people might be drinking and driving on the road.

You Can’t Avoid It, But You Can Fight It

If someone is drinking and driving on the road you can’t really do anything about it besides calling the police. Make sure you always reports people who are suspected of drinking and driving and if you do get in a drunk driving accident then bring the people to court and get a personal injury lawyer so that the drunk drivers never want to drink and drive again.
