According to a report by News 4 San Antonio, a young 18-year old boy was driving drunk, when he hit another car and caused two people to go to the hospital with injuries. When you see these stories it's tough from both angles, because you know that an 18 year old driving drunk might be a troubled kid who simply needs some help, but at the same time you don't want to have remorse for the kid because he ended up injuring or killing people who were completely innocent. Being a teenager is a common time to start testing out alcohol and possibly getting behind the wheel of a car. This doesn't have to always be the case though. In fact, there are some ways to prevent your teenager from getting behind the wheel of a car after drinking, and much of it start with having an open relationship with your kid and not berating her for doing something that most teens do in the first place.
In a recent report, a woman ran into a car while driving in San Antonio, killing the driver of the car she hit and ejecting a 7 year old child from the car. The child was sitting in the car that she hit, and it's possible that the woman gets charged with some form of manslaughter.
